I shop at Lucky's before going to Safeway because I can get things at Lucky's that Safeway doesn't carry. The parking is a little bit better. Ajacent to Lucky's is a Chase Bank, pet store & small shopping center. With the over population of Castro Valley, we need this grocery store. It is well kept and the staff is friendly.
It's a lot older looking and less organized than Safeway across the street, but the produce here looks much better. I personally prefer the Safeway, but I shop here occasionally when there's a good deal or sale.
